Piano ConcertiThis piano concerto coaching course aims to provide students with an enriching musical experience through the exploration of the concerto repertoire. The concerto, with its blending of solo performance and orchestral accompaniment, offers a rich range of human emotions and relationships. The course challenges students to push their technical and musical abilities to the limit as they delve into the diverse piano concerto repertoire spanning various style periods.
Chamber MusicThis chamber music coaching course provides an in-depth study of standard piano repertoire for chamber ensembles such as piano trios, quartets, quintets, and duo piano. Through weekly coaching, the course introduces students to new chamber music literature and teaches them how to rehearse and perform in small ensembles. The course concludes with a public performance where students can showcase their newly acquired skills and knowledge.
Collaborative & AccompanyingThis Collaborative Piano course aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required for success as a collaborative artist in the musical performance field. The curriculum focuses on improving pianistic abilities, promoting musical versatility, fostering a personal musical aesthetic, and gaining expertise in stylistic and musicological knowledge as it pertains to performance. The course also provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience in collaborative techniques such as instrumental accompanying, chamber music, opera coaching, and art song performance.
